On November, 1 in Ashgabat the Ambassador A.Orazbay presented the Letters of credence to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov
On November, 1 in Ashgabat the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Orazbay presented the Credentials to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhammedov.
After the presentation ceremony the Head of Turkmenia congratulated Kazakhstani diplomat on assignment to the position and wished every success.
The Ambassador thanked the President and in his turn congratulated on the 17th Anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan.
Within the framework of the conversation G.Berdymuhammedov noted with satisfaction the fact that the relationship between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan is grounded not only in geographic, but also in common cultural, historical imperatives, and based on shared aspiration and commitment to extend the collaboration between these two states. Since gaining the independence new prospects for relationship development are opened, realization of which should serve the cause of peace of two countries. In this context the Head of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstani diplomat discussed the issues on deepening and extension of partnership.
The President of Turkmenistan noted primary concern of realization of such ambitious projects as Caspian Sea gas pipeline project and the project on main line of “Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran” route, outcome of these projects would be of importance not only for these two states, but for the whole region as well.
The Ambassador assured the Head of Turkmenistan of making every effort in strengthening interstate relationship between the people of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
In the conclusion of the conversation the President of Turkmenistan G. Berdymuhammedov conveyed good wishes to the President of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbayev, having the greatest respect for such outstanding political leader of the present.
