Kazakhstan’s stand on Kashmir

The Kashmir issue should be settled taking into account balance of the interests of the two countries by consensus reached through bilateral talks with participation of UN experts and other international organizations provided there is consent of both side.

In this regard, Kazakhstan welcomes positive developments in the relationship between India and Pakistan taking place since 2004.

Kazakhstan believes that only constant and comprehensive dialogue can lead to a peaceful settlement of all outstanding issues, including Kashmir.
