The Eighth Meeting of the Parties to the Memorandum of Understanding on Sub-regional Drug Control Cooperation will open on December 8, 2009 at 09:00 am. The closure will take place on December 9, 2009 at 12:30 am
8 December
- Thematic discussions on two topics:
- Cooperation in counter-narcotic area (moderator: UNODC)
- Cooperation in demand reduction area (moderator: UNODC)
- Harmonization of the Declaration on Cooperation for approval at the Ministerial segment meeting of the MOU;
- Reception on behalf of the Secretary of State — Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Kazakhstan
9 December
- Inauguration of CARICC
- The Ministerial segment of the meeting. Speeches of the heads of delegations. Adoption of the Declaration
Registration of participants
All participants need to register in order to have access to the venues of major events. The registration desk will be located at the entrance of the «Astana» hall and will be opened on the 8th of December 2009 from 09:00 am.
